ROSS GILBERT
Ross is the Lead Pastor at New Life Fellowship and has more than 20 years of experience as a Christ-centered counselor. A gifted teacher and communicator, Ross is passionate about opening up Scripture in a way that keeps Jesus front and centre and helps people understand and live out the truth of the Gospel.
Ross has a deep desire to see people place their trust in Jesus and experience the hope, freedom, and transformation found in Him. As a counselor, he considers it a privilege to walk alongside people through life’s challenges, offering a listening ear, biblical wisdom, and encouragement while pointing them to Christ.

SHELAGH BALFOORT
Shelagh is a Discipleship Counselor, writer, speaker, and Next Gen Director at New Life Fellowship. With years of experience in discipleship and counseling, Shelagh has had the privilege of walking alongside women and teenagers through difficult seasons, helping them discover their identity and freedom in Christ.
She provides counseling for women and teens, creating a safe and compassionate space where people can be heard, encouraged, and pointed toward the hope found in Jesus.
Her objective is never to fix you, but to point you to the Source of all life—Jesus, our Saviour. She believes true healing and lasting freedom are found not in having all the answers, but in knowing the One who does.
